Modrić, Vini Jr. and Bellingham, nominated for the 2023 Ballon d’Or

Modrić, Vini Jr. and Bellingham make up the list of 30 candidates for the 2023 Ballon d’Or, which will be delivered by France Football on October 30 at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris. The winner of this award is chosen by international journalists, who decide based on the merits of each player in the 2022/23 season.

Vini Jr. had an exceptional campaign in which he was unbalanced in attack with 23 goals and 16 assists. Modrić , who won this prestigious award in 2018, returned to star in another masterful season (52 appearances and 6 goals for Real Madrid) and delivered a fantastic World Cup in which he guided Croatia to third place. Both were key to winning three titles with our team last season: the Club World Cup , the European Super Cup and the Copa del Rey .

For his part , Bellingham , who is also nominated for the Kopa Trophy, has arrived at our club this summer after being chosen as the best footballer in the 2022/23 Bundesliga. During the last season he scored 14 goals in all competitions and with the English team he started at the World Cup in Qatar.
