The Golden Boy
Not even the craziest Real Madrid fan would have predicted a start to a player’s career at the club as good as the one Jude Bellingham has had.
When you take a look at Jude’s stats, you are just left in awe and can not describe in simple words the greatness he has shown so far.

The 20-year old Englishman, in only two and a half months at Real Madrid has broken through all the barriers, inside and outside the pitch.
In 13 games with the club, he has managed to find the net as many times – adding 3 assists to his tally, being among the most profilic players in the world. All this, while being a midfielder.
To put it simply, even for a striker – a start similar to Jude at Real Madrid would be great, let alone for a midfielder.
Jude Bellingham has managed to debunk all his critics instantly, from the ones who said Real Madrid paid a lot for him, to the ones who claimed that he is not really a midfielder, to the ones who claimed that he only scores tap-ins and to the ones that said he is only going through a purple patch.
€103m bargain sounds crazy when you say it, but it’s the reality for Jude Bellingham.
Jude Bellingham does everything on the pitch, from goal saving blocks, to amazing chances created, creative passes, to 30 meters out bangers that change the flow of a game as big as El Clasico, and occasional tap-ins to win his team the game in additional time.
At Real Madrid, Jude Bellingham has already scored three 90+ winners – in his first game at the Santiago Bèrnabeu vs Getafe, in his first Champions League game at Real Madrid vs Union Berlin and in his first El Clasico vs Barcelona.
So far, the player has been named Real Madrid’s POTM twice – and will most certainly be POTM for October too. In La Liga, Jude Bellingham has been the best of the month two out of three times – being nominated every time.
8 out of 13 times – he has been MOTM, 2 out 3 times in UEFA Champions League.
The player is the top scorer in La Liga and joint top scorer in UEFA Champions League.
Beyond his stats, the player has proven to be a leader on the pitch – and most people, including Real Madrid’s Carlo Ancelotti, can’t comprehend how Jude is still only 20. It is hard to ever find a player in football’s history who has looked as mature as Bellingham while being only 20.
Last night, Jude Bellingham was rightfully named as the Kopa Trophy winner in the Ballon d’Or ceremony, as the best talent in the world. The Englishman is Real Madrid’s first ever Kopa Trophy winner – setting another record for the history books.
In December, Jude Bellingham will be awarded with the ‘Golden Boy’ award, to be valued for his unbelievable 2023.
And, in reality – there is no one else fit this year to be above Jude Bellingham in these awards.
After the Ballon d’Or ceremony ended last night, with Kylian Mbappé and Erling Haaland on the podium, and Jude Bellingham, Viní Jr. with their awards – it seemed like the end of an era and the start of a new one.
The 2024 Ballon d’Or will come as fast as you can’t believe it, and the above mentioned names will definitely fight for the most prestigious individual award in the world.
So far, Jude Bellingham has shown that he has everything in his disposal to be present in the Ballon d’Or gala next year – but that time, as one of the favorites to win the main award. With what he has shown so far – and if he keeps it up, he will definitely be up there.
His commitment to Real Madrid – and his constant interviews where he shows how much he loves life at Santiago Bernabéu, has created an even more special bond between Jude and Madridistas.

Jude is the new idol of Real Madrid fans, and rightfully so. His numbers, his influence, his words – everything so far has been flawless.
Alongside his unbelievable impact on the pitch, Jude Bellingham’s influence has reached worldwide levels – especially with his celebration.
At first, it seemed a bit ironic to deem it as the “Jude Bellingham celebration”, as obviously – a lot of players has done it, but this changed instantly through the course of these last months.
Lately, the celebration has broken in other big sports – and the latest examples are from Formula 1 & Rugby, as shown in the tweets below.
