The perfect International Break
Real Madrid players absolutely shined with their national teams during the September International Break.

But this international break was different from the others.
Let’s start with SPAIN players:
Dani Carvajal played 90 minutes in both matches, in the 7-1 win vs Georgia and 6-0 win vs Cyprus. Real Madrid’s captain has started this season perfectly and he showed his qualities with Spain too, assisting twice in the span of 3 minutes in Spain’s win vs Cyprus last night.
Joselu player 18 minutes vs Georgia and 45 minutes vs Cyprus, finding both a goal and an assist last night. Joselu’s record with Spain is amazing, where he has scored 4 goals in 196 minutes, a goal every 49 minutes.
Kepa didn’t play any minute in this International Break, as Spain’s coach opted for Unai Simon as the starting GK.

GERMANY:
Antonio Rüdiger played both full games for Germany in the 1-4 loss vs Japan and 2-1 win vs France. Real Madrid’s CB showed promising signs in last night’s match vs Germany, in a season where he will be a starter at Real Madrid’s after Militao’s harsh injury.
AUSTRIA:
David Alaba played 45 minutes in the friendly vs Moldova and was active for the full match vs Sweden, where Austria achieved a big win to practically confirm their EURO 2024 participation.
CROATIA:
Luka Modric played 150 minutes in two games in Croatia’s 5-0 win vs Latvia and 0-1 win vs Armenia, regaining first spot in the group and making huge progress to qualify for EURO 2024. Modric was Croatia’s best player in last night’s win vs Armenia.
URUGUAY:
Fede Valverde played 180 minutes for Uruguay in their 3-1 win vs Chile and 2-1 defeat to Ecuador. ‘Halcon’ got a goal and an assist in this International Break, being one of Uruguay’s best in both games.

BRAZIL:
Rodrygo was Real Madrid’s only representative for Brazil in this International Break, with Eder Militao and Vini Jr. missing out due to injuries. But Rodrygo did the job perfectly, in 88 minutes vs Bolivia he scored twice and assisted once, while he played 90 minutes vs Peru having a very solid performance.
UKRAINE:
Lunin didn’t play for Ukraine in this International Break.
Very positive signs from Real Madrid players ahead of this very important part of the season, hoping they pick up the same form to help the team continue the winning streak in La Liga and start good in UEFA Champions League.
